Not that many options to choose from. It's either the Seahawks, another team, or retirement.
Assumming he doesn't come back here (I guess there is always a long shot that Schneider gives him his full contract in 2016 or he agrees to say for less money, but I just don't see either happening) and he doesn't retire, which teams could he end up on?

I'm guessing he will:
- want to be on a team in the western USA, close to his home in Oakland
- want to be guaranteed that he will be the primary featured RB
- want to be on a contender

So who does that leave? I can think of only one team: Arizona. David Johnson isn't ready to be their primary back yet (from what I've seen so far) and Chris Johnson probably won't be back with the team next year.

Browns. He'll get into an argument with Jared Goff and punch his head off, thus continuing the epic doom of Cleveland QBs.

I know money talks but I just can't see Lynch going to a division rival, that would be some good TV though.

My guess is he retires or he goes to Oakland

I could see Dallas trying to get him and overpaying. They are desperate for a decent RB.

Dallas needs a good RB. Maybe Philly cuts Murray and he ends up back in Dallas.

If Lynch had a choice between Arizona and Dallas, I think he'd go Arizona. Closer to home and closer to being superbowl contenders.

Cant disagree with you there. If Arizona isn't interested though, that's where I feel Dallas may come into play. Dallas "could" be a contender if Romo and Bryant stay healthy but the safest bet would be Arizona if they were interested.

Lynch is going to the highest bidder. Can't really blame him either.

Seahawks. With a paycut to 7.5 - 8 mil.

I don't think the highest bidder's bid is going to be all that high, and if the difference between the highest bidder and, say, the fifth highest bidder is only a few hundred thousand, then I think money becomes a secondary factor with him. Of course, if the difference is a couple million - well - that's another story all together.

Think he's going to retire. If not he'll be a Seahawk.

Well if the offers are all about the same then other factors will come into play. But I wouldn't be surprised to see a team with cap room to burn and desire to make a splash, jump in with a contract we won't touch. IMO, I think the Seahawks will be looking for a reason why they can't resign him.

Can't see the market being too good for a guy coming off the year he just had. Gore was in a similar situation and only got 4 mil per year.

He's taken a hell of a beating playing the game, so yeah.

I could see getting cut and then retiring. But he forfeits the dead money if he decides to hang it up on his own. I don't see it happening, especially if he is almost healthy now and feels he can come back strong with another 7 months of rest.

We'll see though.

Good comparison.

Good point about the dead money. So he'll get cut then retire.

Can any of you visualize Lynch working with any other system other than the Seahawks? He's lived the good life under Pete Carroll even if he might not like the coaching staff in Seattle. He got away with stuff that would get you into a pissing contest in other teams.

No, I see him retiring.
