Another prospect that may or may not end up a Laker. And yea, TJF12, I have seen those rumblings. If they move Ball, I see IT returning in that capacity.
I know I'm the only person here who thinks this...
But, I think George is going to stay with the Thunder.
I also think Kawhi is going to work it out in San Antonio.
That leaves LeBron who won't come alone.
Someone said this a week or so ago.
But, I think you might end up with Derozan.
That's not a bad deal.
I'd gladly pay the extra 10 mil per to upgrade KCP with Derozan.
Now the question is, would Derozan be enough to tempt LeBron?
If you are able to hold onto Ingram and Kuz, probably.
I really like Randle and hope you guys can find some middle ground to keep him.I am beginning to strongly lean into that camp Mecca. AS usual, insightful and succinct post by one of the best!!

Don't think DeRozan fits that well with LeBron.
You need a time least 1 knock down shooter in the back court. Lowry and DeRozan aren't it. I don't think that core would have a realistic chance to compete with a healthy GS or Houston team.

I think Keeping Randle, trading for Demar is enough to put you in the playoffs next year.
I knew what you meant...lolSorry.
Lonzo and DeRozan aren't it.
UmmmmmmWhat the Lakers should do is trade Randle to Boston for Aron Baynes.
I agree. If they move Ball for reasons of just wanting out of the LaVar Ball Dog and Pony show and LeBron stays in Cleveland, than DeRozan makes perfect sense.
Pair him up with IT coming off the bench and you have a decent and potent backcourt.
Hey what's wrong w/ that trade? I think it would help the Celtics out. Who cares what it does for the Lakers?
Don't forget tiny!
I like Kemba and Lonzo. Think that could work really well. Not sure about IT though. He wants a bigger role and I am thinking someone will give that opportunity to him. He was too good with Boston last year to be thrust into the 6 man role now.
Although I do agree it is where he will end up eventually. Just don't think quite yet. He is a great instant offense guy.
What's happening? You have any holiday weekend plans?
So far, so good. His stats are very similar to George's rookie stats across the board:
