3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup egg white
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 cup milk
2 tbsp splenda

not bad little bland

I've actually never made pancakes from scratch. I like Aunt Jemima.

most pancakes are.
i usually rely on the syrup for most of the flavor.
however, with the above, I would;

• go with 1 whole egg instead of just egg whites
• double the vanilla extract or more
• ditch the splenda and go with a half cup of sugar.
• if you like your pancakes to rise higher, double the baking powder.

now that you almost have a cake, it should give you something you can taste.

I've actually never made pancakes from scratch. I like Aunt Jemima.

Aunt Jemima, Betty Crocker or a number of other premade mixes in a box is good enough for me. I don't see the need to fuse over pancakes as I'm not a big fan of them anyway. Prefer Freedom Toast.
