Darnold benefitted greatly from having Banner, Wheeler, Mama on the Online giving him all day to throw. Banner and Wheeler are gone for sure. Both starting OTs. Mama is testing NFL waters as well.

Overall, USC is losing a lot of senior level talent. Don't toot your horn too much.

You have funny criteria for saying someone got spanked. Take maybe 3 plays back and that's a tight game late. Clearly Bama was better, but UW wasn't nearly as far off as you'd like to claim.

Pac in general will still be down and there doesn't look right now like a lot of danger in the north. Why wouldn't fans be expecting things to improve? 4th year under Petersen, another year under the belts with all that experience dealing with this pressure. Who wouldn't like their chances? Take the stupid decision to try and force that pass that ended in a turnover and it's a whole different game. Bama thrives in getting a 10+ point lead and just holding it. We handed that to them way too easily. There were a couple of runs to their big ass back that a more timely tackle and things are very different.

Now the buckeye's was a spanking. There are games that are clear to see how far behind a team is.

I made it clear, Bama was very much a better team in both phases, but not miles and miles ahead as you'd like to claim here. And nothing you can say will change that.

We like our chances next year to take the north. Deal with it.

There was a huge jump from browning from year one to year two. I'd say most of us have seen enough of this staff and their history to know they will further develop him to take another step next year. It's more about the depth/development of that o line though which also improved as the season went along particularly in run blocking. If we land Sarell look out. It's really down to a spot or two, not the many holes we had for so many years.

Nothing you say makes that game any closer. The Alabama defense allowed one quick score then nothing more the rest of the game. The Washington defense did play decent but then again Alabama isnt a high flying offense. They scored more than enough and there really wasn't any doubt. Like I said before , Alabama could do what USC did, and they did. Pressure Browning into making mistakes and shut down long passing plays. He didn't get taller and his arm was still not strong.
