Why is this such an important move for the NFL when it has been unsuccessful in LA in the past? It always seems like the league can't stop trying to figure out a way to cash in on LA.
The NFL had two teams, and they both left. What makes LA so attractive now? I've gotta think the issues leading to those teams leaving still remain.
think this is the make it or break it offseason for NFL in LA. if they don't get a team to agree to move to LA before next season I think it possibilities will start to fade away.
Jaguars, Rams or Raiders seem the most likely to move anywhere. Wouldn't be that surprised to see the Jags to London at some point in the next 15 years.

If you look at the numbers, it has to be Oakland or San Diego.
Everyone likes to talk about this market as being so large but the entire area of California is pretty crappy at supporting football. Adding a team like Jacksonville to LA doesn't make sense because it just pulls some fans away from the other teams already there. And the teams that are currently there are some of the least profitable teams in the league.

Nah...the NFL is largely a TV driven sport...as long as LA has 2nd largest TV market, they will continue to come up as a destination.
Based on that same theory...JAX would be the most logical team to move...it's the weakest of the small TV market cities. It's really a CFB town.
But...the Raiders are anxious to improve their home stadium situation (I've been to Oakland Alameda and I can't blame them) they have a fan base of sorts in LA...most probable.
Is football able to be a success in la? It's failed so many times, not enough interest in football?
