You cannot possibly think Wade is the same player he was 4 years ago. He used to be utterly dominant. Now he is an efficient secondary scorer.

His FG% is higher because he is not being asked to create as much and he is taking easier shots.

Wade was amazing from game 3 on in the finals with the exception of G6. And no I do not think Wade is the same player he was 4 yrs ago but I do think that he can easily avg 22 or so if he was taking 17 shots per game like he used to instead of the 14 he attempts now

Wade has slipped ever so slightly in PER, but his FG% is the highest of his career. Wade is rock solid when he is out there and that is what the Heat are ensuring.

You do know that games get fixed by a number outside parties? You know how easy it is to fix a game? You really think Stern is above fixing games to make money?

Wade used to be renowned for his ability to get knocked down and get back up again.

Now he doesn't even dress for 1/3 of his team's games. His game has changed out of necessity because he cannot explode past defenders anymore. He uses strength to power through them instead.

He may be scoring efficiently, but he is no longer a superstar and anyone who thinks otherwise is in denial. Being rock solid is much different from being an elite player.

I am not going to argue this point anymore because it isn't going anywhere, but when the Heat do eventually lose this year (and I kind of want them to win again just to piss everybody off) Wade's decline and fewer pure shooters in the rotation will be the two reasons that they are not as good as last year's team.
