I would add that I have a cousin in Miami that goes to all the games. He is a discerning fan, being a native Hoosier. Very gracious and successful man and a diehard fan. I believe he started going to games around the time of Zo, Hardaway, et. al.

Just because nobody took them seriously doesn't mean they were a laughing stock which is what you said. A laughing stock is what the Clippers were doing before CP/Blake. Calling a team who won several division titles, had several 50+ win seasons, and rarely ever missed the playoffs after their first 3 years in the league is stupid.
