Steelhead fishing has been red hot where I go. My family make our own lures.

My first steelhead trip of the year will be in another couple weeks. We are heading up to South Bend/Mishawaka area and then MIchigan CIty.

The trout I fish for are all in Colorado and sometimes Utah.

Bass get slain here in Florida and other Southern states.

What kind of lures do you make? Big Streamers?

This is the first year in a while that I've spent a ton of time watching football. It was harder to do when I first got married and when the kids were a lot younger. Yesterday, I spent time in the basement and on the roof, doing stuff I should have taken care of back in the fall.

Prior to getting married, I watched a TON of basketball in the winter/spring, but I have lost all interest in that sport other than the NCAA tournament, and that's really only for gambling purposes.

When baseball starts, I'll catch a few Mets games.
