What do you do when NFL is in recess?

So what are your favorite things to do on these very boring Sundays sans NFL?

Not bad at all...some 80s in there...11.3 is the latest for me, but going the wrong way til that 82 yesterday. Watched Bill Haas kinda choke one away today...great play by Schwartzel though.

Golf is the sport all pro athletes from other sports seemingly try at some point...looks easy til you start...then you get hooked.
Thanks, yes mostly mid to high 80s in there. Too many low to mid 90s, can be frustrating but you need to keep on playing. Going on seven years for me, most engaging sport I ever played.

Hockey is creeping into the other category.
Basically, any long list of what fans do on any given non NFL Sunday is a short list. Quite frankly, I'm surprised some nerd hasn't mentioned: "reading as much as I can to become a better person," or some chit like that.

Honestly the break doesn't bother me much because I'm into other sports.

NBA and CBB is currently keeping me occupied. Once April starts, I'll add MLB to that. Before you know it, we'll be in July with training camps weeks away from opening

Playing to a 14 index in only 7 yrs is very good imo.

18 yrs for me...my lowest index was 8.9 and that was about 6 or 7 yrs ago back when I was working for myself and playing twice a week or more...I shut it down (for a while during the recession and really just got back into it on a regular basis spring of '13... later that fall, I turned over the whole bag pretty much...including the bag itself.

Now I'm mostly a weekend hack, but play the game better (smarter) than I did when I was playing more often.

Golf is an incredible test of the mind and if you're body is not up to the task you will quickly hit a wall.

Nothing wrong with reading, I've read 3 books in the last week.... for fun though, not to improve myself.

I used to go all in on hockey after NFL but am having a hard time doing so this year.

NASCAR and F1 though, Euro Champion's League soccer, tennis majors, yardwork, playing golf a bit( can't watch it, too boring).

Honestly in Summer, I am usually out on my days off camping or taking trips, So I don't miss it too much on the weekends... I do watch basketball and hockey, but that time period when it is just baseball is the worst for me for sports (just hope for an olympic summer).

Same thing I do when they are playing...fish in the morning, yard work in the afternoon, and grill something in the evenings

Im a Willie fan. Sir Bennigton however....

You are standing at the plate with 2 strikes and your bat hasn't moved... Seattle and Vancouver....

Willie resembles a ferret....

I am not a fan of anything Canuck.

Except losing streaks.....

I can see that one day I will have to make the Haj to Roctoria so I can put a face to your name and giggle at your fandom.... Some pub somewhere for a lunch....
