Ok, good line on the ducks. Gotta give credit where credit is due there.

On Chase Daniel, he supposedly IS pissed. But as someone who watched him play this preseason, he is not better than even a confused rookie version of Carson Wentz.

I am honestly torn on starting Wentz week one. On one hand, he's really not ready, contrary to what Philly is trying to say now that they dealt Bradford.

On the other hand, as noted, he is still better than Chase Daniel. The guy has a gun for an arm, and he can scoot.

I wonder how they will use him. I would normally expect some bootlegs and other plays to let him use his athleticism. The guy runs well for a big QB.

But since he is recovering from breaking one of his small ribs at the bottom of the ribcage, they are probably not going to run him into harm's way too much. He will probably be handing off a lot, throwing screens and short passes, similar to what a healthy Bradford did. Think Alex Smith offense.

I think for the Rams....they really were hoping that Goff would step to the front and earn that starter role for Los Angeles. I have read a bit on how he's really struggling to grasp the offense, hence why he isn't even the backup. I don't think anybody thought he'd be their 3rd QB come September.

I think Philly is making a HUGE mistake. If we had an elite OLine and some receivers... maybe. But he hardly played in college at a lower level. He was supposed to be a project and they said they were going to sit him and let him learn. But on the flip side, Chase Daniels looks bad. REALLY BAD.
