Yeah, so Atlanta will suck a little less than they would have without him. We've got everybody we had last year except we lost Josh Smith. Can you say, NOT a playoff team?

What is the Atlanta Spirit trying to do with this team?

We didn't even make Dwight Howard a logical offer, we lost Josh Smith so we had to backtrack and decide to re-sign Teague after all as a last minute remedy.

Ellis and all of the other available guards went elsewhere so we had no choice, really.

Tough spot this year for Ferry imo...Howard was not coming here, never showed any real interest so I don't blame him for not making an offer...I happen to like Millsap over Josh...the biggest concerns I have...no legit big so Horford will probably play out of position again...SG/SF, is Lou Williams going to be ready...can Korver play the SF spot...looks like a 30-35 win team on paper right now.

Cap wise they have a ton, just not many guys worthy of spending it on in FA this year...that said, I don't ever see the Spirit getting into the luxury tax arena.
