A well liked young coach coming out. I remember last year the Bills tried to get Davis to retire from the NFL as a backup/3rd string QB so they could hire him as their QB coach... (He played for them for a short time) Then there was a rumor the Giants had wanted him to retire to become a coach on their staff as he was most recently with them (Started Week 17 as the 3rd string QB when they sat Jones and Taylor for the playoffs)...

He must be impressive with the clipboard!!

Side Note- As I recall... Davis Webb was the starting QB before suffering an injury in which Mahomes came in his FR year and lit Oklahoma on fire. They competed for the starting QB job the following year and Mahomes blew him away. Davis Webb then transferred to California. (Good thing I remember what appears to be useless information at the time)

Payback time Davis, payback time!! Time for your revenge on Mahomes.
