And to justify firing the dork in charge of this defense. I have to imagine Carroll steps in after this game and the whole defensive scheme changes... Carroll did it with the offense when it started to do jack fuck all in the whole "Let Russ cook era"... Hurtt is out of his league here... He needs to be demoted asap and/or fired. Allowing 40+ points to a beat up Lions team and then what appears to be another 40 points (despite the bullshit officiating) to a Saints without 66% of their starters)? RIDICULOUS. There's no way to defend that. I could give two fucks if it was a diversity hire, Hurtt doesn't know what the fuck he's doing.

Yeah he did exactly what he was supposed to do... You can't expect any RB, whether it's a rookie or veteran to maintain a block for 3 or 4 seconds on Cam Jordan... He bought Geno a few more seconds because of his blocking... Geno just need to throw that away to give us a chance to go it on 4th and 2...

This game is so sour... ugh. But what I can say end of day despite the shit officials, good God our defense is horrible. About half the Lions starters out (including all wideouts), almost 75% of the Saints offense... and you give up nearly 85 points? What in the absolute fuck is going on? STOP the 3-4 experiment, you DON'T have the personnel that can do it! And if that's Clint's idea fire his fucking ass...

It wasn't THIIIIIS bad. I mean Richard and Norton were bad, but we just made two teams with over half their starting squad out look like the most prolific offenses in NFL history.

100%. I don't know if it's Carroll or Hurtt at this point, but the 3-4...... YOU DON'T HAVE THE FUCKING PLAYERS TO FIT THE SCHEME. Why are you trying to force it!? Is that all Hurtt knows? Is Carroll trying to shift something? Whoever made the decision to do this should just be fired.

I mean that's of course ignoring the complete bias from the officials who IMO 100% had money on the game, but the defense letting Taysom Hill look like some hall of famer? What the fuck? I saw several missed holding calls against Seattle, but most were not on Hill just abusing the hell out of our defense. I mean it's Tayson Hill... whenever he was in it was a run.... the guy had one pass (which yah went for a TD, but really?)
