Game Thread: Week 16: Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers

Two teams that have a had a disappointing season, and starting a young QB. Both teams play well at times and under perform at others. Denver shocked the Chargers in Week 7 with scoring a TD as time expires.

These two teams seem to always play close games, and I would expect nothing different when they meet in Week 16. I think Denver will respond and play better then they did when they were blown out by the Bills. The Chargers gained some momentum after beating the Las Vegas Raiders in overtime. This will be a game of pride as both teams have been eliminated from the playoffs.

My hope is that we see a bit more efficient offense and a better defensive effort and communication.

OC beat me to the puch - but I'm not sure why any team even needs to line up a RB - maybe as an extra blocker for the OL. We are starting a rookie and two guys off the street at CB.

Yes but, unlike last week the guys off the street have had a whole week to learn Fangio's system.

Ekeler is more of a threat out of the backfield catching the ball then running it.

The Chargers tried hard to give away the game against the Raiders. I hope if the same happens this week the Broncos don't give them chances to make up for their short comings.

Lock has only registered one game this year where his QBR is higher than Herbert’s average QBR of 96. Wow did not know that. I’m starting to think Lock has plateaued.

I'm personally humbled by @SpringStein's greatness and @LGM just dismantled me in the DCFFL playoffs - so hats off to Steve as well.
