I don't mind the white helmets, but I'm not a huge fan of the Hokie bird or the Hokie feet ones.

Plain white or VT logo are fine.

i will say, our white helmets are typically atrocious, but i typically like white helmets and the pic i posted i thought those were nice

It seemed a couple of years ago, the Equipment crew used to send out pics of uniforms before big games or hint at uniform info during Media Days. This year things have been eerily quiet. Maybe someone hit up the Equiment Crew on twitter?

I like to take some fashion risks with the unis, I'm not a purist like many of my Hokie brothers, but this was a complete and total disaster. I think uni watch said it best when they called the Hokiebird the "poochie"* of college football mascots. What a fucking shitshow.

I don't mind the "throwbacks" which have become "the standard home and away" uniforms, with the stripes and the block numbers and all, but I liked the angled numbers which Nike trademarked as "Blacksburg" font. Oddly enough, the only team in the NCAA that now uses "Blacksburg" font is my kid-brother-tier favorite team, your Buffalo Bulls...

Per TKP, it sounds like we are going with the classic maroon VT helmet per some Instagram sent out today. If we can keep the rest maroon they may as well put an 'S' on the front of the uniform (kidding).

Did anyone else ever see the maroon version of the 2009 white Pro-Combats we wore to Maryland? Found it on eBay a while back, was pretty damn awesome.
