Sheesh. We already get enough shit for technically never winning a "Super Bowl"... do we really have to add fuel to the fire with dousing Doug Pederson with Gatorade after a pretty sloppy Week 1 win?

It was from the players who wanted to show appreciation for Doug, after the Lombardi idiotic criticism of Doug last week, and that the word was that Jim Schwartz wants to take over if Doug gets fired.

Yeah, he doesn't exactly have a stellar track record. He is like a LeBeau, Capers, Philllips, Maranelli defense guru, but not HC material. He wouldn't mesh well with Howie and Lurie anyway.

Were they Super Bowl wins?

(Lions have 4 NFL Championships. ZERO SB appearances.)

Nope but I still haven't found a compelling argument for why a Superbowl victory from 1967 should matter any more than an NFL Championship victory from 1960 or 1957.

Lots of fucking morons out there hating on Doug. The players have his back and Mike Lombardi has no job in the league because he fucking sucks.

The Eagles had two shutouts in those championships in back to back wins. The Lions do that?

Other than it's not modern era. "Super Bowl"

No AFL teams to challenge any of our combined 7 titles.

I don't know.

My Dad was two the last time the Lions were Champs.

I know they won back to back once...

The players had the vision all along. I just couldn't see it. 2017 Super Bowl Champions
