Not only that, but given that we only lose about 3-5 conference games a year and the SEC being down, there is a very good chance that we can eclipse 20 wins and maybe earn a tourney spot.

Yeah, I know it's football season still. But this team has something about it.

9-3 so far this year, and outside the last 10 minutes of the Wichita game they are a much better team to watch this year. Past few years it's been so boring watching Alabama play due to lack of offense, but this year they are pretty good.

Might even make the tourney as a mid seed if they keep playing well.

I don't watch very many games because I don't know they are on or they aren't on TV(no SEC network here), plus I'm not a big basketball fan anyway, but the few games I've seen I've liked what I've seen.

11-3 now. I like this team. 9 guys contributing. They played as well I've seen in recent memory vs Wichita St. for 35 minutes. Inability to beat the press with the dribble in the last 5 minutes was costly. Hopefully Obasahan getting healthy will help there. I think what hurt us last year was losing 4 guys in the offseason. We had ZERO depth last year.

This team has a feel to it, like they can do great things if they can get over the hump.

I think this team can beat Kentucky in Coleman Coliseum. That would be huge. This team is very capable of 23+ wins if Levi Randolph and Ricky Tarrant play as well as they have so far consistently in every game. I can definitely see this team getting a tourney bid when all is said and done.

Yea losing Trevor Lacey hurt. And then Devonta Pollard was a 5 star so losing him hurt too. And if we beat UK, as long as we hang around the bubble we will be in.

I'm not a basketball fan in general, but I don't understand why Grant is still around based on how much he makes in comparison to other coaches given his results.

Looks like we need a new Coach, 6 years and no offensive improvement in any year. Every possession we pass it around behind the 3 point line and don't attack the basket. Bill Battle should have fired Grant and hired Bruce Pearl when he had the chance.

Yeah Grant needed to be gone at the very least last year...nonetheless he stayed and here we are with yet another mediocre at best season. Forget the NIT, this team couldn't compete in the Alabama high school playoffs with Grant as coach.

It's sad too, cause I was so excited when we hired Grant. I thought for sure we could win a championship with him. I was way wrong.
