couldnt agree more, Sportser.

A modest extension that is life-altering money to TH is doable, good for busines, and the right thing to do.

Thus, I give it a 50-50 shot of actually being done.

I would give her $8 - $10 million a year for three years with half guaranteed. There is a good chance his agent might say that is not enough for a starter. Not bad for a guy who was sleeping on his sisters couch this last year.

I figure the most important aspect of the contract is that TH feels respected and NOT lowballed.

falco still has stuff to prove . one bad stretch and the drumbeat for a new qb will start without fail

Likely would have started last week had the Raider DB caught his floater.

that is what he is , now there is a qb in this draft we could get who plays much like falco , has a better arm , and could be had in the middle rounds that i would consider looking at and its Zappe out of WKU

I've heard the name, I'll go check him out. Pickett resides at the top of my list. Like Corral but he is TO prone.

I definitely need to watch his film first before a thumbs up or down. First glance, inferior schedule, his defense didn't do him any favors, multiple games with turnovers. He did throw 4 or more TD's in 9 different games. Appears to have good size at 6'1, 220 and as you said an above avg arm. More to come...

Agree, he is not a finished product. What I like about him is his grit and that he is a gamer. I'd give him a better contract for 3 years but not break the bank. Draft a guy this year or next year, if the new guy can play TH can backup.

The way the team started playing better was the same way Joe Gibbs turned Washington around. Less throws for the QB, more running and pretty damn good defense. I am not writing Heinicke off, I am not ragging on him. Just saying he has been riding the edge of good and bad but it has worked out for him and when he threw a bad pass (the pick) he went out and made it right .... with a little help from the kicker.

Nothing wrong with doubling down on QB.

Aikman Walsh
Bledsoe Brady
RG3 Cousins
Montana Young
Smith Mahomes
Favre Rodgers
Rodgers Love
Cousins Mond
Jimmy G Lance

Teams do it all the time.

WFT holds the leverage. Fitz got $10M with his 14 yrs of experience and lasted a qtr. I'm guessing TH comes back on a 3 yr deal for 24M half guaranteed to compete for the starter job. It's a win for both parties. He deserves this raise even though he is still under contract for another season.
