Hi Vikes fans. I am truly sorry for your rash of injuries. I don't however view Bradford as much of a downgrade from TB. I though he played very well last week and seems to be much at ease in your system. Question though; which is the bigger loss, Kallil or AP?
Thanks for your thoughts. Your defense looks great so I am looking for a low scoring slugfest. Us not having Jonathan Stewart hurts a bit. He does a very good job in pass protect and he and Cam work very well together in the Zone Read option.Kalil had an okay year last year, but had really sucked so far this year (I'm guessing the hip issues were a good chunk of the reason). AP is kind of the heart and soul of the team, but hadn't gotten much room to work from the oline this year. I'd probably lean to AP being the bigger loss if it weren't for the fact that I think they have competent backups. TJ Clemmings is a 2nd year guy taking over for Kalil....and he's never played on the left side. He played all of last season as the starting RT and was garbage. So honestly, I'd probably have to say Kalil, despite his poor play this season.
As for TB, I think Bradford can fill in nicely for him as long as Bradford stays consistent. I think the thing that hurts most about TB is that we all saw improved play from him this preseason and by all accounts was ready to take a leap up in terms of development. Not only does the injury delay that development we all expected, it genuinely puts his career in jeopardy a bit because you don't know how long it'll take to recover or if he'll ever regain the kind of mobility that made him slippery in the pocket.

For sure - your LBs are FAST - much like the Panthers.Sounds like we'll have Xavier Rhodes back, so our secondary should be shored up quite a bit. I really think the key matchup will be our LB's versus Greg Olson. I'm excited to see how they matchup there because he's one of the most targeted TE's in the league and our LB's have been pretty good in coverage.
