I wanted to see Hall, but at least Dobbs is out of there. Jeez. Took 'em long enough.

You don't realize how good Cousins is until you watch Dobbs.
That's what I've said about Cousins for years. We went quite a steetch of Cousins being healthy where we didn't have to do anything than moan about Cousins's flaws and speculate life without him.

This is life without Kirk Cousins unless they draft a guy or something. Dobbs, Mullens, Hall... Brooks Dollinger, Tarvaris Jackson, Kelly Holcolmb, Christian Ponder, Matt Cassel, Donavan McNabb rolled out of a wheelchair by the retirement home, Teddy "1 TD for 1 INT" Bridgewater, etc...

Makes you wonder why they wasted their time trading for Dobbs when they had Mullens all along anyway. This is the kind of thing Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman would have done to handle the Cousins injury.

Mullens was on IR and wasn't available

They swapped 6th round for a 7th round pick, not a huge swing

Expect nothing, get nothing.

Please don't back into the playoffs....just lose out.

This. It's over, the season is a wrap. They were toast the moment they lost Cousins, if we're being honest. I didn't see them making a big run even with him. Just lose out and stop messing up the draft with another meaningless win or two, let alone backing into the playoffs. I have zero interest in watching the Vikings get smoked on the road in a wildcard playoff game they'd have no business being in this year.

Winning is better to watch than losing. I never will root for a loss against the Packers. Ever. Especially if we could knock them out of the playoffs. As it is, What is the difference between pick 13 and 21?

I hear where you're coming from, and I'd normally agree with you most years. This year though, I'm just fed up with this team. I want them to either actually make some noise in the playoffs, or just flat out blow so they can at least get better draft picks. They've been doing the middling seasons thing since 2018, and I'm just over it now. I would absolutely call the difference between picks 13 and 21 significant. Not as big of a deal as #1 overall vs #21, but 8 picks difference is still a big deal that early in the draft.

And what if they somehow pulled a wildcard game win? They'd be guaranteed to get whooped by any team that makes it further than round 1 of the playoffs. Would it be worth sliding down even further than #21 just to see another one and done? I don't know, I just don't care about the playoff participation awards anymore. I want them to do a legit rebuild and draft a QB of the future, and that's never going to happen with them ending their seasons hovering around .500 all the time.

I liked your post though because it's good to see you, brah. Long time no see!

Dude, I get it. We need to find a solution and I hate that it's constantly a troll of mediocre seasons. Beating good or even great teams, but losing to the shitty ones.

The entire situation is fucked. My biggest fear is running it back with Kirk for the FOURTH time. But I think KOC could be too short-sighted or too much of a pussy to want anybody other than Kirk at the helm.

If they let Kirk go and give KOC the chance to develop his own QB, I'm OK with that, but his lack of imagination with QBs other than Kirk does give me pause.

Not much, they'll reach for a useless CB with either pick.

Breh you're even more jaded than I am about Minnesota sports, and I just end up agreeing with you more each year lmao.

60 years of continuous disappointment will do that to you.
