I mentioned this in another thread.

lines do not move like this without some information. A local sports broadcaster said the people that actually know Harbaugh have said he is very interested in the UofM job. It's the NFL pundits that say he is staying in the NFL.

As a UofM fan the only way he comes to uofM is if he has just got burnt out from dealing with pro players that don't take well to his style of coaching.

With that being said if I was an owner of an NFL franchise looking for a new coach....Jets, Raiders, and Bears I would not be rushing out with a blank check for Harbaugh. He seems to be very abrasive and has a shelf life of about 4 years before the locker room starts to turn. Which isn't a big deal in college where you get player turnover much quicker.

My friend, who has an inside mole at Michigan, stated that talks are apparently proceeding between Michigan AD Jim Hackett and Jim Harbaugh's dad, ex-Michigan assistant coach, Jack Harbaugh.

Hopefully, the talks go well. It's gonna take a lot of $$$ to convince Jim's wife, Sarah to leave the Bay area.

We shall see.

In my post above I stated that apparently (per Michigan grapevine) talks are going on between Michigan AD Jim Hackett and Jim Harbaugh's dad, Jack Harbaugh. Supposedly Hackett & Jack Harbaugh are good friends, and thus Jack can serve as a behind the scenes intermediary.
