I'll go with the FREE Virginia state player-ranking provided by 247 FREE Virginia state player-ranking

I do have a caveat, however. At this point in time, prior to playing their senior seasons, you can probably take any player in the top 2 or 3 and make that player the #1 player in the state. Additionally, any player ranked 11-15 could be exchanged for any player ranked 8-10. Just too many unknowns and intangibles at this point in time to generate a definitive Top 10 list.

Again, it's early in the process, but it's interesting to note that 5 players out of the Top 10 and 8 out of the Top 15 in the FREE listing linked above may be heading out of state.

Why should the offers come into your own personal evaluation though? Wyatt Teller's film looks twice as good as Johnathon Allen's on the defensive line, and he is also probably the best OLineman in the state. Give me Teller over Allen any day of the week.

Allen has offers from Alabama and Florida Those schools know their football, evidenced by many National Championships over the past 5 years.

Teller does not have an offer from either of them. Do I want Teller on my team? Absofuckinlutely, but if it came down to taking only one of the two, my money is on Allen.

Matt Rolin is only a 3 star according to Rivals, and #13 player in state according to VaPreps. He has offers from FSU, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio St, Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina among many others. That is an offer sheet of a 5 star player. Obviously these teams are a better judge of talent than the recruiting services are.

The Florida team that barely went to a bowl game last year? Allen is probably not even being recruited by Alabama to play on the DL (like he would be for our 2 squads).... he's probably more of a linebacker in their system. He's also from the state of Alabama. If Wyatt Teller was from the state of Alabama maybe he gets an offer from them. Alabama may be a good program, but I'm not saying a kids better than the other just because Alabama offered him. I mean it's one thing if the kid has 1 offer and the other has 50, but thats not the case with Teller/Allen. They both have plenty of good offers.

This would be pretty close to mine... I might have Rolin and Allen switched, and Hodges and Harris switched, but i agree for the most part.
