I am confident because of the lack of production Utah has showed in passing game. Good comp % but very low yardage and only 1 TD pass all year.

Oregon can play the run well.

Should be exciting. I think Oregon at home wins by 14-20.

Funny right? Most programs that have as crappy a history as 0regone would be a general favorite for cfb fans if they were experiencing some success in recent times.

Not so with the yucks. They seem to be universally hated.

I wonder why that is. I certainly hate their arena style of football. I'm a defense first guy, so maybe thats what it is.

Or is it something else?

Oregon's Defense was in the same boat at this time last season. As the year went on, they improved to the point that they were pretty dominant heading into the NCG, where they came back down to earth. There is a lot of talent on the defensive side of the ball, and it did show to some extent against MSU. I think this is where the defense gets on track and plays better and better as the year goes on.

Me thinks some people don't like the "over the top" lavishness that is perceived with Phil Knight's $$$$. Just a guess.
