Oh yah definitely easy to understand. Just saying till the NFL settles down etc is kinda hard for a lot of teams to make quick announcements in quality NCAA programs for the fear that they'll lose the guy in a week.

I mean Pep didn't make the final play call's and there was other statistical data that wasn't overly impressive.

Maybe the person they're getting is going to really take off here. I mean for one it could be someone really established and two if it's not then all great coordinators had to start somewhere.

I suppose this is a good thought...but in reality, we're now going on a couple weeks without an idea of who is on our coaching staff, approaching NSD, have no news on any potential big name hires, and really no idea who, if anyone, is even interviewing.

Judging from some of the rumblings I've heard (nothing spectacularly substantial) but it sounds like an agreement is in place and that we possibly could hear something by the weekend. I'd say that's a good assumption with LT's announcement due what Monday?

I think we can all agree that Stiney's no OC but he is a good coach (could stand him back on the OL) and a excellent recruiter, so this is good news.
