Lol you are correct. By rule he was supposed to be ejected. Late hit, defenseless player, led with the head, and hit him in the helmet.
However, not because Amir Watts is valuable the ACC refs didn’t consider it targeting. I guess they want Pitt in the ACCCG because they did decent against Penn State? I don’t know why else the ACC would care about the outcome of this game enough to keep him in the game
