how about an either or...
1 dollar per all star game
OR
5 dollars per CY or MVP SEASON( if MVP AND CY SAME SEASON IT COUNTS AS 1 NOT 2)....
- whichever is greater

All players get maxed out at 20...

Ruth, Bonds, Johnson=25

All 1933 or before=20
ALL 1999 or after=20

If we only use this I don't think partners make sense.

To me, you have to either do a partner draft with no cap or a cap draft with no partners. Or maybe a partner draft where they both draft a full team and then cut to fit under a cap.
If it's a partner draft, you could do total posts on the hoop 1-10 and pair it, tenure on the hoop, v bucks totals, mock wins....

My suggestion was combining salaries and possibly alternating picks for each team but that seems like too much work and you can load one team up

I like this if we do a salary. Like UK said, I dont see the point of having partners though. We need to either drop the partners for salary, no salary with partners OR combine the two teams at the end for a combined salary cut.

we start off with 5 teams 2 owners per team

after round 10 the partners split, still sharing the same 10 players, but now have their own team where they can draft 14 more players...

Playoffs, you face your X-Partner in the first round...

I like this but with 10 players there has to be two play-in games. which four play those games? 1&6 and 2&7?? Then the QF round is the other 6 facing each other and the winners of the play-in games facing each other?

My suggestion since we have a new guy is a partner draft or no partners and a year restriction no cap.

I like the idea of a partner with a cap but it seems unneccessary unless this...

Partners work to create two lineups, one 7 man rotation 6 man BP and 5 bench players that all will play.

In a 7 game series format each SP with pitch one game and you will switch lineups every game.

18 - positional
7 SP
6 RP
5 bench - (C, 2 IF’s, OFs and PR)

36 rounds

Cap rules are what @MilkSpiller22 suggested...
