Tulane and Duke both Bowl Eligible

These are both feel good stories as Duke and Tulane became bowl eligible today. This is the first time Duke has ever been bowl eligible in back to back seasons. Tulane has not been bowl eligible since 2002! Do not be surprised if Duke gets votes in the AP tomorrow.

a lot of teams have recently broken new ground with bowl eligibility stats....rice vanderbilt to name a few

but lets be realistic here, this is the result of an increase in bowl games played each year & diminishing strength of schedules .....not feel good stories
