Going to be interesting to see what Mitch does, I think he'll be better than Glennon. Don't know if he will lead the Bears to any glory though.

Well I guess he will now miss his second week in a row. It is lucky they have weak teams the games he is out

I did not get to see the play that he got hit on when he slid and then got the penalty called but it must have been a decent hit

Mitchell Trubisky not expected to play vs. Giants

Daniel is a good backup. They should be fine with him under Center

Nice. Could use a VaGiants' win to solidify the 49ers' chances of drafting ahead of 'em.
Actually the defensive back hit him quite late after the slide and was penalized for "unnecessary roughness" (no crown of the helmet however).
I think that when a blatant late hit is penalized and results in an injury, then is confirmed by review during the week, the offender should be ineligible to play as long as the injured player is out. That would eliminate the majority of late hits for sure.

This. So much this. Especially if it was a cheap shot, which it was. Late in a game they were getting their asses handed to em'...dirty white boy Harrison Smith with a blatant late spearing.

I agree completely, he should have to sit as long as the injured player.

Cheap shot all the way. He was penalized and fined. It's not enough IMO, to deter bush league fucks from doing the same.
