Yup, that looked bad. Reminded me of that Rutgers player. You can also see him trying to get up, his head moving but body not responding.

I had just wrote something about him needing to put a pad on it and get off the field and luckily didn't post it before I realized it was a serious injury. Knight has a huge upside but I don't think he will ever be durable enough to play the way he needs to in order to win consistently. Maybe if he spends the whole off season in the weight room adding 20-30 lbs of muscle he might be more durable. Funny thing is you watch QB's like Boykin from TCU who is about the same size as Knight and he takes hits all the time and bounces right back up. I guess some people are just more durable than others. Personally looking forward to Mayfield and having a consistent passing game again. Good reps for Cody down the stretch and working on the running game will be nice. Can't wait to see if DGB decides to stay and play for OU and getting Mixon in there with Perine, Ford, and Ross will be awesome. Guess I'm to the point of hope for next season again. Hope to be in the playoff hunt this time next season ;-)

In all fairness the receivers haven't exactly looked sharped at getting open, really two receivers in the same area that one time was ridiculous.

Still not practicing this week from what I read.

He won't play for the rest of the season...and will probably backup Mayfield next year.

We don't need a running QB with our stable of backs. Period.

He is definitely out for Bedlam. Just got a text from NewsOK that Knight is ruled out. I think it might be that they are worried about his injury but I think that, primarily, they are comfortable with Cody and running the ball. Thank goodness.
