Ha, well, I wouldn't say I'm on Ball's bandwagon, but I'm not simply dismissing him either. .especially if he flopped due to an appendectomy that never properly healed. he's still there, even if he came supplant CJ...he'll be eating into his time at the very least least

For what it's worth...

Well, for wearing down quick last year Anderson led the league in rushing over the final six weeks of the season with 648 rushing yards. His eight rushing touchdowns during that time also led the NFL. Anderson's 779 all-purpose yards (rushing and receiving) was good for third in the NFL behind New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (853) and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell (780). Anderson will start for the Broncos this year and has the ability to finish as a top-10 fantasy running back in 2015.

This is a response to the reports of Anderson being overweight last year.

Always enjoy your analysis Treff. IMO I would rank both CJ and DeMarco higher but I am most surprised that you left Gurley not only out of the top 25 but he didn't even make honorable mention.

As of now. .I think he's starting the year on the pup...six games out the window, plus the 2 or 3 for a rookie to get his feet him. ..he's not gonna be on the field enough to be mentioned..although, he'll likely be a very nice contributer come playoff time.

If he had 16 games to project, I'd likely have him one or two above Gordon

My RB strategy this year will be to grab Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley relatively early. Try to take them a few picks before their adp, wherever that may be. People look at rookie rbs as an unknown value. I look at almost all rbs that way. I like them so much because they don't have near the same wear and tear on their bodies and there isn't much film on them for teams to study. They can turn out to be the steals of the draft. I also think when opening day comes they will be the starting backs on their respective teams.

Sure wouldn't try to change your mind. .but would advise some caution on Gurley...if he's missing the first six seeks, you'd better have some solid options, or you won't be in the playoffs for him to really pay off

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Might be true, Fudge, but that logic didn't help Sankey or Ball last season. The NFL level can make even the best situation look mediocre.

I see what you mean. The year before you had Lacy, Bell, and Bernard break out though. I think Gordon and Gurley are much better than Ball (who was actually in his second year), and Sankey though. And Treff, I didn't do any research on injuries yet, what's wrong with Gurley?

Gurley had his ACL surgically repaired in November. It's a virtual certainty that he misses the first month. .and if you're not going to chance rushing things with your #1 draft pick, as Jeff Fisher has said he won't, they may as well PUP him, which means the first six games

Yeldon....maybe, in a perfect world where the Jags aren't playing from behind... but Coleman? Atlanta's line is terrible and they are a throw first and second team.

Get them late enough and you might get lucky, but I wouldn't be paying much for them.
