because its a middle tier P5 school. why not make the jump here and see how you can do in the middle? beats jumping to the bottom of the P5 and failing because its a harder build or going big and failing right off because it was too big.

Pitt beat Clemson and Penn State. GT was 3-0 vs the SEC (which is as many or more wins than 6 actual SEC teams), Miami, VT, both won their bowl games, finished with 9 and 10 wins, and will finish the season ranked (along with GT).

The ACC Coastal was arguably the 3rd best division this year
