So the BBC has elected to not renew Clarkson's contract for Top Gear. Essentially firing him and putting the show's future in limbo. Hammond and May also have expiring contracts and have indicated they would not do the show without Clarkson. Top Gear as know it is no more.
I can understand the BBC's stance on this. They were damned if they do and damned if they didn't. Sucks though, I love that show.
Rumors circulating that Clarkson (and possibly Hammond and May) are fielding a possible rebirth as a NetFlix exclusive.
