I don't dig the Maryland upset pick, but with our defense last year and the stats you laid out, it's possible...

That said, I think it a whole lot more likely that PSU beats us in Happy Valley this year...

Probably, I'll honestly admit that I don't know much about their team and who they have returning. The last time I watched them was when they were getting spanked 63-0 by FSU the week after they broke into the top 25...

That said, it isn't impossible for them to have gotten a ton better this year compared to last.

I'm actually more worried about opening at Navy than I am about Maryland, but I've been wrong before.

Would Wisconsin over LSU be an upset?? Personally I think a team replacing as much as LSU playing a team as loaded on offense as Wisconsin will be lucky to make it close. Ive been saying Badgers by 20+ for awhile now. LSU will be tough later in the year but that is a bad bad matchup for a team without a great offense and replacing a boatload on defense.

How about this for a non traditional "upset"... I predict after 10 games the B10 will have 3 unbeatens and 3 of the top 4 teams in the country ( OSU, Wisconsin and Iowa )

Wisconsin lost a ton of play makers on offense in Aberderris, Pedersen and White. They have no proven threat at WR or TE and lost their best all around back in white. Yes I know Gordon is back but he isn't nearly the blocker or receiver white was. And Wisconsin only returns 3 starters on defense. And nobody from their front 7. LSU returns 14 starters and I believe 4/5 of their offensive line. They will be able to run the ball on Wisconsin, every bit as good as Wisconsin will be able to run it on LSU. I think it will be a high scoring game. But I would consider Wisconsin winning an upset. LSU will more than likely be favored and has more overall returning starters and had a much much better recruiting class and some of those FR may be able to contribute right away. And LSU has the coaching advantage Imo too.

South Carolina over Georgia

Virginia Tech over Ohio State


All 3 already meet the true definition of an upset, stuff like this doesn't usually start in September
