We're figuring out the tough way that it's pretty tough to win 5 of 8. Never mind, it's 5 on 9. Forgot to count the replay official.

I'm proud of these guys for regrouping when it seemed like everything (officiating, momentum, hot shooting, and clutchness) was going against them. It would have been easy to quit after the Wolverines drained that three to force overtime, but we didn't. Those are the type of moments that win conference titles and earn 1 seeds.

It's really not our year. A good group of kids though, hanging tough and starting to play better defense while finding/creating better shots (still lacking a bit of muscle and consistent shooting).

Walton turned it on late tonight but coughed up the ball quite a few times, and tossed up a couple air balls early...possibly the difference in the game.

In the end we were just overmatched. Wisconsin grinded it out and made bigger shots.

Wisconsin looks vulnerable on the road. The loss at Rutgers, now this.

The Vault awaits.

Maryland fans were being so fucking cocky. Glad we whooped their ass tonight.

Where did you encounter the MD fans? Did they travel to the game?

Anyways...Indiana played lights out. Congrats.

I thought I saw or heard a stat of just 1 turn over for the Badgers in the game

This has to be the best coached team in college basketball. It's incredible how they are able to dominate opponents with only marginal talent.

Not really. More on ESPN and the BTN website. Thanks, it was a great shooting night for us.

Northwestern doing their best to choke away 36 great minutes of play against Maryland. An 11 point lead is 4 after they went turnover-turnover-turnover the last three possessions. They have no idea how to deal with the full court press.

I never understand calling a timeout under your hoop with 1.4 seconds left and you in-bounding. Doesn't it make more sense to throw it to half-court and call timeout with about .8 left? It's not just Collins. Bo did it last night as well.

Anyways, Maryland's wins by 1 after a great Wells rebound and score with 1.4 left. They were down 63-52 with 3:20 left, when they got a rebound off a missed one-and-one. Big choke by the Wildcats, but credit Maryland for not giving up.

And for all the talk of Collins being a good coach, none of his guys know how to deal with the press. That's inexcusable, even with Northwestern's recruiting level. You would not have seen that collapse with Matta, Bo, Izzo, and the like.

It's tough for me to think that Purdue is tied for 3rd place in the loss column in the B1G. This is a team that lost to Vanderbilt, Gardner Webb at home, North Florida at home and by 30 to ND. With games to go against @IU, @Ohio State, @Michigan State, it's tough to see how they can be an at large team, that would give them 11 losses and that's if they win the rest of their games this regular season.

This loss also will hurt IU in terms of seeding(I'm assuming they make the NCAAT) They look like they are destined for an 8/9 game, along with Ohio State, and Michigan State, at least at the moment.

After 12 minutes, Iowa was shooting 78%...and losing by 8.

Our offense is crazy. Unfortunately, our defense sucks. 35-30 right now.
