Too may injuries and the schedule is too tough. If we can get to 8-8 Id consider it a good season. Just gave away too many big leads early in the year to try and make up for it with everyone we have out. If we had held on vs NO, NYJ Miami and were sitting at 5-1 or even 4-2 right now Id still have hope but with games vs Seattle, SF, GB, NO left I just dont see anyway of getting to 9 or 10 wins.

Yeah if we aren't making the playoffs there is no point in trying to have a winning season. I wouldn't ever wanna throw games but it'd be nice getting a good draft pick and most of our guys back next year so we can have a healthy team again

I'm convinced that we should just cash in this season and do everything we can to make sure that our $106 million dollar investment doesn't get killed before this season is over. I can't watch him continue to get hit so many times so I'm not watching these guys play anymore this year.

Let's face it, without Matt Ryan in there we've got no chance. I am all for using 9 guys to block for him if that's what it takes to protect him. The Falcons cannot afford to allow Ryan to get a career ending injury. That's all I'm worried about right now. Even if this team can eke itself into a playoff game we are not going to go far in the playoffs.

I'm for just making sure Ryan doesn't get killed. I don't care if we win another game this year as long as Ryan comes out of this season healthy I'll be happy. We are going to need him over the next 10 years. Time to think about the long haul and just chuck this season in, in my opinion.

These guys just cannot block. They couldn't block two weeks ago, they can't block now, and they won't be able to protect Ryan in the playoffs, either. I don't think it's worth it to try to get into the playoffs as a wild card team. There is too much risk involved.

I am for playing second stringers and let's get everybody who is any good healthy again. Then we can make a fresh start next year - AFTER we draft and sign some free agents who can actually block consistently in this league.

Trade talks are heating up again for Tony G., I wouldn't settle for anything less than a 2nd round pick.

Tony G. deserves a Superbowl. I think we owe that much to him. I say send him back to KC, they've got a good shot at getting there and he did play there for many years.

This season is over for the Falcons. If you think we can do anything in the playoffs you are just fooling yourself.

Time to give Tony G. the present he deserves. Trade him to wherever he wants to go.

Maybe we can get a 1st from the Chiefs? Have his career go full-circle and finally compete with them.

He will not accept such a present. He said that he loves the Falcons and that he's not going to leave.

Well the Chiefs are really the only team I see him even considering going to. I do not think the Chiefs have a 2nd rounder to give us for Tony though since they traded it for Alex Smith. Plus a 2nd rounder is a TON to ask for for a guy that is going to play half a season. I would probably settle for a 3rd or 4th if Tony really wanted to leave.

Yeah, I know. One can't say he isn't loyal, that's for sure. Rare breed in the sports world these days.

Well, the Saints looks strong enough to win the DIV, so I think that's not a realistic goal right now, but the WC is WIDE open and all the teams vying for it have some holes too. I think ATL can win 3 of the next 4 games... and be a lot more in thick of it.

The real key is SJax, because that will give Matt the playaction pass threat back...the young WRs (especially Davis) are showing they can play so the OFC should not shut down w/o Julio. Get Roddy back in a couple of weeks and hopefully Spoon...

Maybe they're not Biermann in terms of versatility, but Goodman and Massaqoui look better rushing the passer.

9-7 is within the grasp and they are 1-1 in the NFC so I wouldn't throw in the towel here.

But the OL still can't block. We aren't going to the playoffs, dude.

Okay, what's with Ryan and the Cardinals? He had a bad game against them last season too.

Wow after that game, It's time to abandon ship. Jackson, Osi, and Tony G should definitely be on the trading block. Is there anyone else i'm forgetting?
