Looking forward to a season without a disfunction al staff.

I am more than willing to give this guy my support but I do wonder about the wait for this though. Was Riley hoping for someone else?

All I know is either 1 of 2 things is the case......

1) Riley knows exactly what in the hell he's doing.

or

2) Riley panicked and took who he could.

1 of those 2 things is the case for this staff.

We will find out, and I'm excited to see what I hope is the better of those 2.

I wouldn't say Riley panicked. Is resume is more than respectable. I would guess he was looking at some one else first though.

saw some video of him coaching. He's gonna be a hell of a recruiter with the way he talks.

Guarantee our receivers get better. He knows what the fuck he's doing.

I'm guessing Riley has a hell of a staff a brewin'.

What I was getting at was that I don't think Riley would target some middle of the road guys. Either he settled for them, or these guys are great coaches.

Gotta be the latter.

This is a good hire, and well worth the wait. It was only a matter of time before he left Tulane and we nabbed him before LSU or someone came calling. He's produced NFL level receivers at every stop he's made and works with the Saints and LSU in the off season in coaching clinics. Great hire by Riley. A definite upgrade from Fisher and I'm one that thought Fisher was a decent coach.

I just read up on him a bit.

I'm convinced that #1 on his list of priorities was building a staff of guys who have been around the block. This guy has a ton of experience, not only with WRs but even experience as an OC.

Harbaugh to Michigan could prove to be quite the thorn in our ass.

At least we don't play them until like 2018 or something.

looks like JP might have found a job. DB coach at UNC. Good for him. I never thought he was a bad guy, just in over his head at DC. He needed way more experience under more coaches than just BP before getting the DC job.

Report: UNC to hire John Papuchis
