Watching some HS football. Broken Arrow vs Union. 2 Oklahoma powers. How did people let OSU get CJ Moore? Kid is clearly the best player on the field

He never had an interest in Oklahoma. We never even pursued him. He actually got all butt hurt about it just because he wanted the offer to hang on his wall so he could say he turned it down.

Yeah, you guys have a great QB coming in next year. He looks like the real deal.

Smith is a fantastic prospect but I think he'll need a redshirt year to get stronger. That said, he's an elite athlete and you can't teach 6'6" at WR.

I hope he stays committed, he committed a while ago, and had a good relationship with the former OC who's now coaching at WKU. He does look very good though. Could stand to put a few pounds on, but I'd guess most QB's would need to do that.

And yeah Smith does have the attributes, it was just surprising to see his team play that poorly.

I think he stays. Even with the OC leaving, I haven't heard anything about him wavering. He was a major OSU target, even with Emory Jones in the fold. Jones says he's 100% committed but Alabama is still coming after him hard, and with the logjam at QB at OSU, I couldn't necessarily blame him for flipping. He won't be playing until he's a Junior assuming Martell stays in Columbus. If that happens, I could see OSU going after Jurkovec hard. They really like him.

So Dayton's QB got knocked out of the game in the 2nd quarter and was replaced by a freshman, but I think they were already down by a few scores. They also lost 4 fumbles in the game. Not a pretty start, that's for sure.

Yeah that's the thing, Wimbush has 2 years of eligibility left so even if he stays both years, Jurkovec would be starting in either his sophomore year or red shirt freshman year, depending if he went that route. I'm almost certain he would beat out the other 2 QB's on ND's roster.

He's a damn traitor to the B1G (just kidding)... this kid from Columbus, OH had offers from 9 of the 14 B1G schools (everyone except Ohio State, Maryland, Illinois, Northwestern, and Nebraska).

Rated a 3* because he's a 2 way player and not just a linebacker. I like this kid. Good start to our LB class.
