If there is pride staying in the state of Texas, why the fuck did only 4 of the top 20 kids in Texas stay in Texas in 2017? I don't really give a shit where this Foster kid goes, but that line is a bunch of bull shit.
He's a moron. He embarrassed himself last year about Texas recruits as well. He spouts off about all this stuff he supposedly "knows" about them, but he's full of shit.

There's that arrogance again

You clearly don't get why anybody chooses a college do you?

If Ohio State is winning, blue chips in Ohio aren't leaving the state. If USC is winning, the same is true in california......florida......georgia......texas

Kids want to stay close to home. Foster is a country kid, likes riding horses and fishing.

And what you don't know is - most of the top 20 recruits in Texas talk on a regular basis and have a group twitter chat......Texas is expected to land nearly all of them. There's a pride in staying in state with these kids. Foster is announcing before the season starts. He'll visit tOSU this summer, but he isn't waiting for the season to play out, he wants to have this done. We already know where his mother wants him to go, and that's Texas.

Right now, EVERY single recruiting analyst that has worked on this gets the same message - Texas is the choice. tOSU is certainly a threat to that, you are right in that regard - but your arrogance in thinking that just because you want him you can have him is patently false. WHY would he choose tOSU over Bama? Clemson?

Kids want to win......but they also want to win AT HOME, where their friends and family can see them. That is a top factor for many kids.

Why would a talented kid want to waste his time at OSU languishing on a depth chart in the cold?
LOL you're such a chump. Guess what? Texas kids don't give two shits about being a Longhorn. Bama is the only team on OSU's level in regards to recruiting right now, and he hasn't shown any interest in Bama. I've never seen him say how important it is for him to play at home, as you've made up as a reason, but I have seen him say how important it is that he plays for a program that knows how to develop kids and put them in the pros, something Texas is lagging behind in an extreme way in comparison to OSU right now.

We've put more kids in the first round over the last 2 years than Texas has put in the draft PERIOD for the last FOUR years. You're the minor leagues right now in comparison. The only reason this kid stays at home is if OSU decides to load up on different positions since we already two elite safeties. Deal with it.

Except.......kids committed in THIS class have said JUST THAT.

So sorry, but you're wrong

LMAO.

Texas doesn't develop DBs, neither does OSU. COACHES DO.

Maybe you should look at WHO is on this staff and WHO they've developed into pros instead of running your mouth about shit you don't know, LOL

The kid likes Texas, as well as most of the DBs in the Texas class, BECAUSE of that very reason

But yeah, carry on

Dude, google Caden Sterns......he says that playing at home for Texas is WHY he chose to flip as his primary reason. He's not the only one.

These kids BELIEVE they will win with this coaching staff. It's really that simple.

I told you all LAST YEAR that IF IF IF IF IF IF IF Texas were to win 8+ games they'd have locked up all those recruits

You all CONSISTENTLY forget that FACT that I posted that. If they would have won, which is what the recruits were looking to see, they'd have gotten those kids. I stand by that.

You're right, you did say if Texas wins 8+ games Texas would get all those recruits, the only problem with all that bull shit is that Okuduh announced his final 6 schools in like fucking July prior to the season.

Right, the coaches. As in the ones that are currently there. The ones that have been putting kids in the pros. Are you honestly this stupid?

The kid likes Texas, but OSU is his favorite. HIS words. Right now, OSU is a far, far more appealing option for anyone who wants to make it to the pros. Deal with it.

Yes, the ones that have been putting kids in the pros......that haven't coached a game at Texas. YES, those coaches......YES the ones he's built a connection with, the same ones that have more skins on the wall than you apparently seem to know.

And yes, the same ones he's most likely going to commit to.

Reality is just because YOU think OSU has more to offer doesn't mean a teenager agrees with you. You aren't going to land every kid simply because you want them.......other schools can recruit just as well or better than you want to give them credit for.

None of your coaches have proven to be even in the same stratosphere with OSU's coaches, and that's a simple fact. You want to argue that, go ahead and make yourself look even dumber.

If he commits to Texas, it's going to be because OSU didn't make him a priority due to already having two elite safeties. Deal with it.

Here is the the rub. Washington, CB coa,h at Texas, has coached 4 kids into NFL picks since 2014. Others may have more, but that is 4 kids from Houston, Texas State, and Rice. He has 2 more still on NFL rosters that signed as free agents

Wilson 4th round pick was a 2 star
Craig Mager 3rd round. Unranked as a recruit
Phillip Gaines 3rd round. Low 3 star
William Jackson 1st round. 2 star recruit

That is developing kids

That only counts if they coached for Ohio state, don't bother bringing facts to this. Every other DB coach in the nation is a waste of a recruits time didn't you know?

He "coached" Gaines and Jackson for 1 season each. If you want to take that approach, just going by mid-round picks, then hundreds of coaches are "developing kids" these days.

LOL "Come to Texas, and maybe we'll put you in the 3rd/4th round!"

Or, go to OSU and go in the 1st.

It's not like I am taking credit for a first round Safety that analysts and scouts said needs a lot of coaching, but is a sick athlete. Lot of people confuse natural talent with development

Wow. That is even dumb for you
Not at all. Are you going to actually try and act like Texas is on OSU's level right now in terms of producing NFL talent?

I said Washington has had a great track record of developing NFL DBs. He did it all since 2014 at mid-major schools with inferior talent. That is developing kids. Getting a 5 star into the NFL isn't nearly the same accomplishment.
