It's what I said before the series when I said I'd be happy with a split. When an entire team and offense is slumping and have been for a while, they're gonna snap out of it eventually. Even bad teams go on runs throughout the season. I'd rather start a series against a team with a 10 game winning streak going than one with a 5 game losing streak, especially when the team on the losing streak team has literally all of their key players slumping.

Plus add in the fact that I can't remember the last time we won a series in Cincinnati, I was nervous about this series.

We had a great throw in the 5th inning. Beat the runner to the plate by a good 20 feet, but our dumbass backup catcher forgot to actually tag the runner. Directly lead to two runs.

And the dude is batting like .120 and both of his hits this season were popups that fell in front of the centerfielder. He has even less value than Bourjos did, and that's saying something. At least you could use Bourjos as a pinch run option.

Yep. Runner was called out initially, but I knew watching it live that the runner slid under that tag, and and the review overturned it.

Chest high tag on a play at the plate when you're holding the ball while the runner still has 20 feet to go.

Billy Hamilton has to be a frustrating player for Reds fans. He might be the fastest player in the game, but just can't seem to ever put the ball in play on a consistent basis.
