If Soroka has to go on the DL after every other start, if including him in a trade can land us deGrom or even Realmuto, I'd be fine with it.

I think he is on the Phantom DL. He said himself he felt no pain or discomfort but his velocity was down according to Chuck Hernandez...(I didnt Notice it)

If we're gonna use the phantom DL for pitchers, I'd rather use it with Teheran or McCarthy. Teheran either gives us 7 strong innings or gets rocked. There's no middle ground with him.

Baseball is a weird game. McCarthy has had injury issues his entire career and he hasn't missed a start, meanwhile, every other starter other than Newcomb has had at least one stint on the DL this year

If we insist on keeping him, I'm telling him he'd better be bunting towards third everytime they shift against him.

We chose him over Tucker too. Tucker isn't much, but he's a much better PH option, and I'd rather keep Danny Santana than Flaherty when Acuna returns. Santana can play infield and outfield and has been making good contact.

Ryan Flaherty, Peter Bourjos and Sam Freeman all need to go. If Evan Phillips looks good up here, Sam Freeman should be the odd man out when Viz returns.

Santana and Culberson are 2 really solid bench options. Bourjos and Flaherty can go tho.

Biddle has outings where he can't find the strike zone, but he has had good outings in big spots this year including both of our long extra inning games.
