Wishful thinking. McCaffrey is the #1 PP QB for the class of 2017 and he has mobility too (rushed for over 600 yards last year)
The only way McCaffrey isn't part of the 2017 class is if McCaffrey chooses to go elsewhere.
With his genetics and natural ability. The shy is limit for him.

I'm just telling you what a Michigan fan told me who follows recruiting pretty closely, McCaffrey was #3 on Harbaugh's qb board.

I truly hope you aren't dumb enough to believe a comment like that. No "michigan fan" has any idea what the schools recruiting board looks like.

Actually, I have a pretty good idea of the targets that Ohio State has on its board for 2017...the information is available if you are willing to pay. This guy pays for the same type of information from a Michigan site and is usually right on.

Unless you are paying Urban Meyer or a coach on his staff for the info. You are basically paying someone to give you their opinion. You are better off just looking at who they offered and coming up with your own opinions. You will be right just as much as the guy you are paying.

To each his own. The guys on this site are pretty connected.

Ohio State offered 180 players last year and over 200 the year before. I can think of 1 or 2 surprise commits out of that list based on what the info these guys provided.

That, and there is one guy who provides real insight into the inner workings on the site.

McCafferry just moved up to the #1 QB, #18 player and a five star in the 247 composite rankings....I don't think that's happening.

I give you Kareem Walker, #1 RB this time last year, who dropped to #4 on 247 and #6 on Rivals and out of their top 150. It's a long way til signing day.

Sure, a lot of it depends on camp performances. Even Walker ended up as a pretty consensus top 5 RB.
