I don't know much about baseball but pitching in this game is not good.

I won't be able to see the B1G pitcher of the year in Maryland as I am getting really tired.

BTW, this is the first baseball game I have watched in 2017, college or pro.

Actually after Hohensee's rough 2nd inning, I thought the Huskers played pretty well. Hohensee finally settled in and pitched okay, although it certainly wasn't his best outing of the year. You take away that 5 run 2nd inning and the Huskers outscored Purdue 15-4.

I like the offense as of late, 36 runs in the last 2 games, although some of that is simply poor opposing pitching. Due to rain all day yesterday the Iowa/Maryland game got moved to today and thus bumped Nebraska's next game to 9 am tomorrow. That sucks.

Nebraska needs to get a lead early and if Hohensee can make it into the 6th inning at least, I like our chances.

Huskers scored 4 runs in the 1st (although the lead didn't last long) and Hohensee pitched 6 innings exactly.

and if we lose the 9AM game..we have to wait and then play again at 4

now...win the 4 PM game...play again at 9AM the next day.

Losing tomorrow would definitely make things much more difficult now with the rearranged schedule.
