He dodged one... His very first pitch was right down the middle of the plate...

Wow. How do you look at strike 3 in that situation?

Rangers hitters are scared.

Phew! Alright! King Felix tomorrow. Gotta go for the series sweep to start to get back in the division. We've lost too many series at this point, need the sweep. Gotta re-coup that sweep against us from the Dodgers.

Amazing how much the pen looks like last year when the starters started looking like it too.

This was a nice win. Miller is scaring the heck out of me again on defense. He has the worst arm angle on some of his throws. Just submarines throws to first when he doesn't need to.

I keep feeling he gets dealt for Gee on Mets. I would be bummed if that happened, but not bummed if he gets dealt for a real 1B or real LF or real SP.

Anyone still pissed we traded the human 60 day DL for Happ? He's been awesome so far

Got a good feeling about this now moving forward... The team was probably fighting off the jitters and all the expectations in the spring. Hopefully guys are starting to feel more comfortable with their roles, especially when the starters are capable of going deep into games.

These poor rangers... last time he faced Felix, they struck out 12 times. How many today?

I was fine with the saunders/happ trade. I remember pointing out that Saunders is never healthy for more than 1/4 of a season at a time, and that happ would do better in a home park that wasn't a litterbox like that thing in toronto.

NO WAY i was expecting him to do this well, though. i doubt he'll keep it up at this high of a level, but i think he's going to be more than just an innings eater as so many thought.

on a side note, it's shocking how stupid seattle radio guys are about baseball in general. in the past couple of days when talking about happ, several have been bringing up chris young, and being very negative about him in seattle last year. it's like they literally started following baseball yesterday.

not a great ballpark for him historically, but he's a man on a mission this year more than ever before after getting snubbed for the cy young.

I like miller but it would make sense to make a deal and get either a starter, 1st baseman or corner outfielder in return. Taylor seems to be excelling in AAA so it doesn't make a ton of sense to do nothing with him. Rather try and fix one of the warts on this team.

Despite the addition of Cruz the lineup will still struggle when Cano and Seagar are slumping which is the case the last few games. Just too many other dead spots right now.

Love reading through these in the morning after wins. Couple things, can you guys please quit trying to jinx the king. "should be a sweep" "3 nights in a row with 7 innings pitched" God stop that! Who knew Dave Simms posted on these boards..........

Maybe their season flashed before their eyes on that flight into texas cause the last two nights the pitching staff has been nails!

Lastly, Millers not great defensively, but its nice seeing that 300 average. I feel good when he steps to the plate, can't say that about k nino or LOBMo (left on base not to be confused with legion of boom)
