Mariners-Rays won't. In a dome. But the way the M's have played lately, I can hope for a miracle.

seems like a typical M's inning right there.

The catcher (Moore) batting about .150 legs out a base hit, but jams his knee on the last step. stays in the game though.
Ichiro up next, belts a double to the right field wall..... Oops, Moore pulls up lame on the base path, basically crawls into 2nd. A fast runner may have had a shot at home, but third base was automatic. Of course, him lying down on 2nd limits Ichiro to a single.
No problem, we still have men on base, and we can get the cripple out of the game
Figgins steps up, and slaps the first pitch into an easy double play to end the inning. nice.

and of course they lose.

the aforementioned clusterfuck happened with a 2-0 lead in the top of the 8th.
the fall apart in the bottom o the inning to blow the lead, and then Marlins get a walk-off to win 3-2 in the 9th.

M's are now 1-7 in games that are tied in the 8th inning, and 0-4 in extra inning games.
absolutely zero character.
