Man watching the World Cup, it occurs to me that soccer needs some enforcers, some Charles Oakley/Rick Mahorn type dudes patrolling the goalie box.......you go in the box, you catching hell. Toughen up some of these softies that act like they got shot by a sniper if a dude run by them and they feel the wind. Maybe THEN Americans would actually like the sport more.

They actually penalize you for that and rather seriously. Unlike Hockey which encourages fighting, Soccer is played for the sport of it.

Sorry, constantly flopping without anyone around you is not "playing for the sport of it". I'd rather have guys fighting than guys falling on the ground trying to get a set piece.
