I feel fairly certain that Clemson-Alabama is going to be rated quite highly, same with Oklahoma-Georgia and any of those 4 playing each other in a Championship game will be a blockbuster.

The SEC is at risk here, also.

They don't want to see both Bama and UGA lose in the semi's...that would follow
them and put a chip in their mystique.

SEC in the playoffs is 3-2, with one title. They'd lose some credibility if they fell to
3-4. If nothing else, they'd lose the benefit of the doubt.

I don't know, The B1G has had their ass handed to them 2 years in a row, yet they had 2 teams in the hunt on the final weekend.

By contrast, our combined losses were by 9 points.

If both teams got blown out it might be awhile be two more got in, but we've haven't blown out by anyone under Saban, I don't think it starts this year without a really dominant team.

I like how 6-6 FSU is shitty, but 7-5 Iowa is somehow ok. You know what the difference is between FSU and Iowa...we beat FSU. Had tOSU won, they would both be 6-6 with a similar resume...and that is without Francois.
