I think Oklahoma is gonna run the table. The Clemson Bama matchup is entertaining as fuck. UGA Bama haven't played each other so it would be a fresh game (Dawgs get whipped badly tho)

Don't be salty

Salty? lol

I disagree. I think we have 2 really great matchups.

I think the least interesting CFP was 2 years ago when Michigan St limped in and everyone knew Bama was gonna blow their doors off.

A word of warning.

More than likely, the Big10 will have 3 teams playing in elite bowls.
I can see Ohio St vs USC at the Fiesta.
Penn St/Whisky vs Miami at the Orange
Penn St/Whisky vs TCU at the Cotton

You better win 2 of those games.

On paper, I like the B1G's chances in all 3 matchups. Paper doesn't mean much tho.

I'm going by the past history of National Champions TV ratings. The 3 times they put in teams that couldn't win their conference were the 3 lowest watched National Championship games.

But we'll see what happens.

So why is this less interesting than last year when they allowed an undeserving non-conference Champ in the playoffs?

I can't speak to that because I'm a Buckeye fan. I find all Buckeye games interesting. Didn't that game receive low ratings? For a major event on a weekend?

Oklahoma is going to keep this from happening
Heh, you cats may finally get a chance to beat Bama when it actually matters

... unless Clemson does it first, or UGA dispatches the Sooners that is.

The overnight rating for Alabama-LSU drew the lowest rated for a BCS Championship Game. But last night's game escaped that distinction after all of the markets were reported.

Interestingly, the three lowest overnight ratings for the BCS Championship Game occurred in a year when there was some controversy over the participating teams. The previous low (14.3), in 2002, featured Nebraska, which didn't win its conference. LSU's win over Oklahoma in 2004 featured a Sooners team that didn't win its conference.

Alabama-LSU produces third-lowest TV rating for national championship in BCS era

I feel fairly certain that Clemson-Alabama is going to be rated quite highly, same with Oklahoma-Georgia and any of those 4 playing each other in a Championship game will be a blockbuster.

Yeah, nobody want's to watch Alabama and Clemson Rd 3 or the Oklahoma vs Georgia games that feature a great offense against a great defense.

Get out of here with that bullshit.
i wanna see teams that made their own conference championship

Well at least you can admit that the only reason you find this year uninteresting is because of your biases.

It's time for a college football playoff format instead of a committee deciding which teams deserve to play in the championship game.

A playoff format would create more excitement like the basketball tournament does.

I'm interested in the playoff every year, I would feel the same if Alabama was left out.

I said least interesting. I find every football game interesting. But I'd rather watch 2 champions go at it then 1 champion and one non champion.

So you want to reward teams that play in easy conferences like the Pac12 and punish the teams that play in tough conferences.

No thanks.

I definitely felt that way last year after watching Penn St/USC followed by Clemson/Ohio St, so I feel your pain.
