Just watched a bunch of episodes. Just got done with 3.2 , that was really good. Loved seeing Rick put his machete in Tomas head, smart move. Also thought it was about time that Rick group learn to fight as a unit to clear out walkers.

The next few episodes get a bit rough. But it turns around. Eps 6 and 7 are a bit controversial, but I really liked them. Ep 8 is amazing.

Getting closer...and watching last season's finale, I am wondering: Why do those people talk like that? Did they become retarded-through-trauma, or something?

Why did Negan let Sasha get into the casket in the first place? Seriously, when she said that all she needed was a nap and a bottle of water, that didn't raise any red flags?

Other than that, not a whole lot goin' on, reallly...a lot of shooting, tho.

Lots of wasted ammo there to be certain. I'd like to know where their unlimited bullet supply is coming from, especially since the one guy that knows how to make the bullets is on Negan's side at the moment.

My theory, which is 100% unconfirmed, but is based on comic book knowledge...

Spoiler: Comics book theory

there were AT LEAST 4 separate time-lines shown in this episode...

1) the events of this episode. The fight in the Santuaryy, Daryl and his pistol sharp-shooting, the pep talk by Rick, Zeke and Maggie.

2) One day prior to the final battle. Daryl and Dwight having a crossbow convo.

3) Imediately after the Rick/Negan final fight. All closeups of Ricks red, bloodshot eyes.

4) Three weeks after the time-jump. The day of the fair / Old-Man Rick

I am watching the episode again now to confirm if I believe this to be the case.

Tell me again why they didn’t just snipe Negan dead during the conversation?

They were able to snipe the two lookouts on the roof. They even mentioned that the whole thing ends with one persons death.

But they won’t snipe his ass during the convo?

She plays a strange character but Rosanne Barr-like is a bit much,. The Shrink lady that had her eye shot out.

Yeah, I'm trying hard not to fall into this trap with my thinking, but its hard not to wonder. Heck, you don't even need a sniper rifle. Just any ole rifle will do!!

For story its anti-climatic which is obviously why they just can't shoot him and be done with it, but again, they should "write it" to where Rick isn't within 50 feet of him then with a clear line of sight.

And then Rick is staying when the "plan" calls for him to leave because he's obsessed with killing him?

And of course... Gabriel... Please don't make any episode in the near future about some rescue operation to save him... Please?
