There's a lot of stuff that velcro doesn't stick to. Glass, metal, laminate, wood, plastic, ceramic. In fact, most things in this world don't stick to velcro.

When I was in middle school, there was a kid on my bus that was 2-3 years older than me. He was a big lummox who picked on kids a lot, and one day I told him his dad was so stupid that he couldn't go vote because he couldn't read, and it really slowed his roll down a bit

So - the question remains . . if not for covering for abuse by his assistant coach, or lying to the media . . . why the hell was Meyer suspended?
Because we live in an outrage culture that demands punishment for anything and everything possible. This is 100% the reason why he is suspended. If this was 10-15 years ago or so, he would not be suspended.
I love that he's still going to guide us to a win over your sorry team this year, too.
Putting out a statement to clarify was fine. It needed to be done with as many ignorant dumbasses were out there still making up rumors, and it's also going to be easier now for him to point to this statement when dumbass reporters want to bombard him with questions when his suspension is over. I hope this is the end of it.
