Sorry Charlie, neutral source that cites credible opinions like Mike Pereira and Ozzie Newsome. Yes, almost everyone including Tom Brady thought it was a fumble, but the rule WAS applied correctly.

It was actually created to reduce the ambiguity between fumbles and incomplete passes. ironic.

I think it was correct based on the rule. But it sure looked like a fumble to me...
